About us

I have been working with Tecology since 2017 and it has always been a pleasant and positive experience. We have had Tecology help design and develop data-heavy websites that needed a robust and secure back-end, while also looking good and being user-friendly. Tecology has always been able to deliver, and more importantly, force us to think a few steps ahead and ask tough questions that forced us to make decisions early on.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tony at Tecology for over 10 years. Tony is solutions-oriented, responsive and has a strong focus on ensuring compliance and data security.

With Tecology at the helm of the IT for our Organization, we simply don’t have to worry about these challenges and we can direct our energy to where it needed strategically and operationally.

I have worked with Tony for approximately 4 years in my capacity as a Board member for the International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH). Tony is an indispensable part of the ISPAH team – knowledgeable, approachable and committed to providing excellent service.

Tony responds quickly and effectively to resolve problems when required, but is also proactive in identifying issues before they arise and signposting us to areas where we could improve our infrastructure or service for our members.

As IT Systems Lead for the International Society for Physical Activity and Health (ISPAH) from 2020-2024, I worked very closely with Tony and Tecology to implement front and back-end systems for ISPAH’s digital footprint. Tony was incredibly responsive and solutions-focused, always quick to step in and help us move things forward.

What stood out most is how much time he invested in understanding our broader vision and mission — he never felt like a contractor, but a trusted partner aligned with what we were trying to achieve. His level of commitment, reliability and technical expertise made working together easy and effective.

Tony is someone you can genuinely trust to get the job done properly. He communicates clearly, takes ownership, and really cares about delivering something that works in practice, not just something that looks good on paper. What I appreciated most was his openness to learning as we went. He actively sought feedback from us during the conference process and was willing to adapt and improve the product based on what we were experiencing in real time. It never felt rigid or one-directional.

He was also confident enough to push back when needed. At times we would request something that seemed reasonable, but Tony would take a broader view and explain how it might impact other parts of the society or the longer-term strategy. That pushback was thoughtful and constructive, and it made the end result stronger. Most importantly, it felt collaborative the whole way through. As volunteers juggling many competing demands, it was reassuring to know there was a real person on the other side of the screen who understood those pressures and responded with empathy and practicality. I’d happily work with him again and would strongly recommend Membersites to others.

We signed up nearly one year ago, and so far working with the Membersites platform and Tony has been really great! The platform seamlessly integrates all functions in relation to our society’s membership, finance, communications and conference abstracts and registrations. Moreover, many tasks that we used to do manually are now completely automatic. This saves us a huge amount of work and sets us up very well for future growth. For a society that depends entirely on the time of volunteers this means a lot to us.

Additionally, Tony continually works on making the platform better and he’s very responsive to any feedback, requests or suggestions. I have worked with many software developers over the years, but I haven’t met any that are as engaged as him. He really cares about delivering the best possible product and customers’ service. Therefore, I look forward to working many more years with the Membersites platform while our society goes from strength to strength.
